September 23, 1999-2014

Wow, I cant believe that last Tuesday was my birthday!!! There is a lot more on my plate, now that I'm 15. There's things like actually brushing my teeth and being responsible and stuff. Lol, ok so maybe I actually have been doing those things for awhile (or at least the 1st one), but I actually do have a lot to think about, and starting with Drivers Ed. I cant believe once I get my permit, I will be able to legally drive around town with a parent. It frightens me to an extent, but I know that I'm NOT driving anywhere too complex until I get the hang of driving around other vehicles.

I didn't feel any different when I turned 15. I even tried the actual time I was born (7:22pm), and yet there was still nothing. But I'm pretty sure ill feel something once I turn 16.

The world gave me a birthday present, and even though its the same every year, I still take it with gratitude. That present is none other than Fall!!! I love fall, mostly because of the nice weather it brings every year before Winter. Its so nice and cool, and all the leaves start changing colors and begin to fall. Thank ya world!!!!

Cant wait for next year, and the surprises that lie in store for me next September 23!!

"The Right Decision" and "Bottom Of The Totom" Mash Up

Hey guys, I'm back again!! I know I said I would post "The Right Decision" and
"Bottom Of The Totem Pole", so I'm going to go ahead and cram them into one post.

The Right Decision
Well, I'm homeschooled, and I have to say, I never would have thought online schooling was so fun and easy. However, I'm not saying homeschooling is a walk in the park. It still has its down sides, like working for 6 hrs. straight sometimes, and finishing up around 11pm some nights. Plus, it can be very tiring. Homeschooling has been a blessing to me, and has helped me draw closer to God considerably. I've very blessed to be online schooled, and I get to enjoy it with some good friends of mine.

Bottom Of The Totem Pole
I'm a freshmen!!!!!!! Man, has life gone by fast or what? It feels like just yesterday I posted my first blog adventure. :) With all that's going on, I'm surprised its gone by fast. I'm been having trouble with my faith before I started homeschooling, and I felt farther from Him than ever before. Homeschooling has helped a lot, and now I'm back on track, and am soaring high with flying colors through my faith.
But back to being a fish, I still cant believe it! Please pray for me, cause I'm definitely going to need the prayers. Guess that's all I got for these subjects. Hope yall enjoyed this mash up post thing that I did today!!

Heaven Is Definetely For Real!!!

Ok, so I watched the awesome hit, Heaven Is For Real today, and I have to say, it was
A-MAZ-ING!!!! I have never seen a movie as inspiring as that before. I was brought to tears at least twice, and I was soo glad when I figured out it was a true story. It's really cool the ways God reaches out to us, even though at the time it isn't always so pleasant. I positively support this spectacular story and the Burpo family that went through all this. As for the novel, I can assure you, I will have it soon.

Reach Camp

Now here's a good topic. Reach Camp, the most AMAZING Christian summer camp you could ever go to. The youth and I had a blast, and the cash I had to conjure up was definitely worth it! I personally had a special life-changing time there. I've been having a hard time with life lately, and I needed to let it off my shoulders and tell someone about them. I truly am grateful for all of my friends that were at camp; they helped me through these troubles that I'm having, and I will certainly never forget their kindness toward me. Thanks again guys!!!!

We even got our own dorms! With 4 people to a dorm; 2 people in a room, things were decently quiet, until the others arrive. People really liked to room jump, and that's when things started getting insane. At the max, I had a total # of 10 in my room at once!! But it was nice with all those people in there for a group game of ERS (Egyptian Rat Slap), a card game we like to play.

We love having group shots, especially with our snazzy glasses on. We took quite a bit, and if the rest of them were in control of this blog, I would have more group shots of us on here!

After all that, I didn't want to come home, but I guess you cant stay at camp forever. I'm definitely going next year, and I'm already saving up for it. Cant wait until next time, when I'll be having even more wonderful memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Youth Work Weekends

For the past 2 years of being in youth at my church, I have gone with them to Pine Cove to work in their kitchen for the weekend. Its awesome how we get to serve food, clean the dirty dishes for the campers, then get a couple of hours of freedom to hangout on their equipment, for free!!!

This was my 2nd time to go, and we were all hyped up and ready to be on our way. Once we arrive, we unload and just hang out for the rest of the night. The next morning, we get up early to start preparing for campers to enter the cafeteria. We fix plates full of food ready for them to pick up at the counter, and set napkins, salt, and pepper on their tables.

We fix pitchers of juice and water for them, as well.

Not only did we work behind the counter, but we also handed out food to the campers while they were seated. By the way, holding that pan isn't as easy as I make it look.

And even though we're workin, it doesn't stop us from having a great time in the process.

After we are done serving their food, we take whats left and chow down.

Every time I go, I have a great time. Cant wait until next work weekend!

The Newest Member

For starters, y'all remember Abie right? Well, she passed away on May 2, 2013..

We had some good memories with her, and we were sad to let her go.

But now we have another, and she is a little rascal. Her name? .....
Bella!!!! She is one pampered pup, from the time we got her, to now. As soon as Mom saw her, it was clear to us that she was that lonely dog at the shelter was going to be coming home with us.

Even though she sheds like all get out, she has still been a blessing to us. She undoubtedly filled in the gap that Abie left us with.

We say that she is Grace's dog, because she basically took her in as her sister she never had. Bella follows her around everywhere, so Grace doesn't have a problem getting Bella in there with her.

We have only had her a year, and she has brought joy into our hearts more than once, and will most likely be doing so for years to come.

Blowing The Dust Off This Old Blog

Wow, lots happened since my last post! As you can see, I've decided to get back on and start posting again. There's A LOT to catch up on. I got in Boy Scouts after my last post, stayed in that for about 2 1/2 yrs., then got out. Band also was a major part of my life. Played the trumpet, and stayed from 1st to 4th chair for the past 3 yrs. Been going to my church's youth, and having the best 2 yrs. of my life so far! I've made quite a few friends there, and have helped me in more ways than just one. My family has also had there down times as well. For example, since February we have had one funeral after another. Its tough, but we get through it. I hope it stops for awhile though.

Well, that's basically got you caught up. Here are some topics that I'm planning to post. Until next time!
